We finally had a snow day this past Saturday, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I truthfully hate the cold, but I LOVE the snow. It absolutely looks like a winter wonderland at my university, and it makes me not want to go to class or run any errands because I’d rather just bask in the snow’s glory. It’s an endless dilemma, especially since I have hypothyroidism and I’m cold 24/7, but I love the beauty of a snow-filled campus in AZ.
I’ve also been incredibly excited to wear my little red beret (inspired by my good friend Emma), and I really wanted to go out and take some great photos in the snow. Shoutout to my boy Tanner for always being there for the photo opportunities.
As you can see from the photos, I’m loving the all-black ensembles these days. I just bought my turtleneck ( in white as well) from Forever 21, and I’ve been wearing it and styling it nonstop. I’m not sure how I lived without one in the past.
I also purchased my coat from Champs-Élysées two (!!!) years ago while I was studying abroad. I cannot explain to you all how much I adore this coat. I wear it every winter, and it may not look very warm, but it actually battles the wind and snow pretty well. My jeans are high-waisted, even though you might not be able to see that due to the crazy snow, and I only recently jumped on the high-waisted trend. So far I’ve been loving it!
I doubt we will get any more good snow days up here this winter, and I’m honestly quite distressed about it since I haven’t even made my first snowman yet. I’ve yet to experience a “snow day” from school as well, since it never quite snows enough to our University’s standards for students to get dismissed early or not come to class.
Either way, I’ve been completely happy and content with this snowy wonderland, and I hope that wherever you are, you’ll also experience some pretty winter weather.
