If you’ve read my blog before, or follow me on Instagram, you know that I love to spend any of my remaining dollars on aesthetically-pleasing food or coffee places. Why do I do this? As a business major, the one thing I truly learned in college is how much passion, hard-work, and creativity goes into opening your own business. Thus, if I’m going to spend any money and add to the consumerism mania happening in America, I’m going to drop my money on a small business or one that tries to differentiate themselves in all the best, possible ways. Teaspressa definitely qualifies as one such business.
Not only was the Teaspressa CEO, Allison DeVane , on Shark Tank S7 a while back, but she ultimately did not get a deal. This, of course, did not stop her from creating numerous, successful locations of her business in Phoenix, AZ. Not only did Teaspressa become a very well-known brand on its own, but it also amassed over 18,000 followers on social media and went viral on Twitter a few times due to its method of creating concentrated tea that can be prepared like coffee in drinks like lattes, macchiatos and cappuccinos.
Needless to say, I’m obsessed with this business, the location, and the CEO. If you look up Teaspressa on Google, some of the words and phrases that come up include: “best tea in AZ”, “woman-led”, “inclusive”, “stylish”, “unique”, “healthy”,and “delicious”. If this doesn’t make you visit, I don’t know what will! Major thanks to my bf Jax, his little sister, and my little brother for experiencing this with me and putting up with my crazy picture-taking, as per usual. Fun fact: We also decorated cookies here today and I was ecstatic.
