It’s finally winter ! My university’s campus looks incredible covered in white, and I genuinely feel like I live in a snow globe every time there’s a new snowfall. I couldn’t be more excited to see the massive amounts of beautiful snow and get to enjoy my favorite season once again. Also, my favorite clothes reside in my winter wardrobe, so I’m pretty excited to wear those again! Scroll below to see some gorgeous shots of NAU from this past week.
I recently went on a very fun, adult-like trip to Las Vegas with my best friends, and we ended up stopping at the Seven Magic Mountains on the way back. I’ve had this place on my bucket list forever. I was so happy to go visit it, especially with some of the best gals I know.
One of the most amazing things I did in college so far was go to AZ Hot Springs with the Hiking Club and my best friends back in Spring 2017. This is obviously an overdue blog post, considering it happened back in 2017, but I still felt the need to talk about the AZ Hot Springs this year. If you ever visit AZ or need a new AZ trail to hike through, you absolutely have to go to the AZ Hot Springs.
Something that I look forward to every single October in college is the Homecoming Carnival that ASNAU, our Northern Arizona University Student Government, hosts for the students for free. There are all types of fun rides, free popcorn, hot chocolate, and cotton candy, and a multitude of fun and silly games to immerse yourself in. I love every second of it.
Since I just finished my Autumn term at University of Essex in England, and I was on exchange from Northern Arizona University with this whole study abroad experience, I thought it would only be right for me to discuss the major school system differences between the U.K. and the U.S. for those who are curious or wanting to study abroad themselves.
